Three Pianos – The OBIE winning hit music-theatre event that wowed audiences and critics alike in its sold-out run at the Ontological-Hysteric Theater in March – is a theatrical explosion of Franz Schubert’s Winterreise song cycle. Filled with fantastical touches and inventive arrangements, Three Pianos is a colorful and imaginative evening of chaos that explores Schubert’s music, life, and times. The play is set on a blustery winter night where three friends each manning a piano lead the audience through Schubert’s famous work, performing the song cycle while drinking Terra Fossil Wine.

He Sips: Argentinian Malbec has long been known as a good value wine. But at 6 bucks a bottle, can this be any good? Well, yes it can. We didn’t look up the price until after tasting it, and I thought, “if this is $15 or less, this is a buy a case wine.” Don’t get me wrong — this wine won’t blow you away, but it has nice, dark fruit, and it’s in balance. There is enough acidity, and the alcohol isn’t over the top. It’s worth more than the $6 price tag.
She Sips: I tasted this wine the next day–and it was still good, which is always a plus when selecting a bottle of wine…just in case you can’t finish it in one day. Fruity and bold with a smooth and silkly finish. A really good value wine. For $6, I’d say stock up. Seems like a party wine to me. And I’m a sucker for their cool dinosaur labels.

Terra Fossil was thrilled to be the wine of choice both in the film and at the post production parties! Junction is a dramatic thriller about drug addicts who break into a random house to steal items to trade for methamphetamine. However, once inside the home, they discover information about the owners that will change the course of their lives forever. Choice Films has partnered with Movie Ranch Entertainment and Pâté Productions Ltd. to develop a slate of theatrical films including the upcoming feature film Junction, written and directed by Tony Glazer. Junction wrapped principal photography on December 18th, 2010 on location in Fort Lee, New Jersey, and is now in post-production. Casting was via McCorkle Casting Ltd., New York.
